The National Association for Language Development in the Curriculum (NALDIC) is the UK professional body for all those interested in raising the achievement of bilingual pupils with English as an Additional Language. NALDIC was inaugurated in 1993 and since its formation has acted as the voice of the profession. It provides a professional forum for: Teaching and learning of English as an Additional Language Supporting bilingualism Raising the achievement of ethnic minority learners The development and understanding of this field of education.
