Visit London

The London walking tour

Our London walking tour offers a fantastic opportunity to explore London’s rich history and culture and has been designed to provide a unique view of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

Our activity leaders will take you on a journey through the heart of London.

The tour will start at House of Parliament, where you will learn about the UK’s political history and how important this building is. From there, we will walk to Big Ben, a symbol of the city’s rich history.

We then go on to Horses Guards Parade, a historic site known for its ceremonial parades and royal events. If we are lucky we will see the Changing of the Guard, a tradition that dates back to the reign of King Charles II.

No tour would be complete without seeing Buckingham Palace, the London residence of our new King Charles III.

We will also see many other important landmarks including Trafalgar Square, which is one of London’s most famous public spaces. It is known for its cultural events and public gatherings, it is home to the National Gallery and the iconic Nelson’s Column.

Here are some of the places you will see:*

+ The London Eye

+ Big Ben

+ The Houses of Parliament

+ Horse Guards Parade

+ Buckingham Palace

+ Trafalgar Square

+ National Gallery

+ The British Museum*

+ Covent Garden*

*The London tour can sometime be changed based on requests by the students' group leader or teacher from their own school. Some sights might not always be able to be seen due to events taking place in London. e.g. The London Marathon
